During college, I realized I had a passion for real estate and decided to pursue my dream of becoming a real estate developer. After an apartment fire left me with nothing but my car and the strong desire to start over, I left western New York where I was raised, and moved to Charlotte, North Carolina. My first job in Charlotte, framing custom homes, paid me a third of the salary that I was making when I left my sales job in Buffalo. But I had a dream and three months later I was offered the position of Project Manager for the largest custom home builder in Union County. I immediately starting managing the completion of more than 40 custom homes. At the same time, I attended Real Estate school in the evening so that I could become a Realtor. I enjoy playing sports; ice hockey has always been a big part of my life and I still play several times a week. With the help and encouragement of my best friend, I learned how to play the guitar at the age of 15. One of my favorite pastimes is playing my guitar and attempting to sing. I graduated from Williamsville South High School and continued my education at Buffalo State College where I majored in Secondary Mathematics Education.
